Which bench near you would make a good Happy to Chat bench?

Somewhere with a steady trickle of passers-by: outside the shops, along a walking path, or by the dog park. Make a small sign: “Happy to chat? Take a seat.” or “Free chats. No booking needed.” Prop it up beside you, settle in, and see who joins you.

How to do this

  2. Head to your bench and prop it up beside you.
  3. Say hi to anyone who takes a seat.
