Why This Matters

Shelters go through bedding constantly. Towels and blankets you’re finished with become a warm, dry place for an animal to rest while they wait for a home.

Check the list first

RSPCA Victoria’s donation rooms are run by volunteers and have limited space, so they can’t always take everything. Check the accepted-items list and your nearest care centre’s hours before you go, and it’s worth a quick call on the day to make sure they’re staffed and have room.

How to do this

  1. Check RSPCA Victoria’s accepted items and hours.
  2. Call your nearest care centre on the day.
  3. Gather clean towels, blankets or sheets you no longer need.
  4. Drop them off during opening hours.
